Would you recommend using a USB4 cable with the Intel RealSense D455? (USB-C Thunderbolt 4 port compatible with USB4).
Specifically, I am considering the Newnex USB4 C to C Dual Locking cable (U4T1C01C02P010, 1m/3.3ft, Gen 3x2, 40 Gbps, 48V / 5A). Since the D455 operates at USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5 Gbps), I want to ensure that using a USB4 cable would not introduce any compatibility or performance issues (used with Ubuntu 22).
It may be overkill for the D455, but we are looking to invest in a future-proof processing unit that will eventually support camera upgrades.
Thanks!

Hi @jrecasens There is not much data on using RealSense cameras with Thunderbolt 4. The best available reference is #12520 which discusses using D455 cameras with a Thunderbolt 4 hub.
A RealSense user at the link below was also able to use D455 with a Thunderbolt 4 port so long as they did not use hardware sync.
