I agree that the plugin should search subfolders as well. It would also be wonderful if it looked for matching image names in the folder the user specifies in the Obsidian setting: Files & Links -> Default location for new attachments. Ideally you could paste an image into a Marp slideshow and have it work without any renaming or moving files.
