I went through the code for the fun of it, and I saw a variable called tankmanAscend. I also saw an option in the secret options menu for "No RNG Ascend," and when I loaded Guns the log returned source/PlayState.hx:1189: 8. But the code in PlayState didn't give any hint on how it works (I don't know much about Haxe) so how does it work? And is there a way to have it in other tracks using the same stage as well?
