I am unable to play official matchmaking in CS:2 with ASF. Steps taken:

This is an old issue that also was present with CS:GO. sometimes and only for some users. stop the bot in ASF before starting the game locally and the issue should be resolved. Nothing else ASF can do. |

The cause of that could be the fact that you have CS:GO also as GamesPlayedWhileIdle - if you immediately disconnect the client playing old game and start a new one, then perhaps GC detects that the change was suspicious at the very least. Like Abry said, you can try stopping the bot (or whole ASF) at least a few seconds prior to playing, which should resolve the issue. Regardless whether it does or not though, there is nothing we can do on ASF side to help with this issue, as VAC is entirely independent Steam mechanism we don't even interact with - and we can't predict when you start a game to do the above for you. Of course you can also try removing that game from GamesPlayedWhileIdle, but I guess you have it there for a reason. |
