Tolerance not working

Hi all,
i have trouble making the tolerance function to work.
I tried even with 5, but the thermostat keep changing to "heat" as soon as the current temp is below the target temp, and also changing to idle as soon as the current temp is above the target temp, without using the tolerance parameter.

How the tolerance parameter is supposed to work?

Does BT change the HVAC action to heat? Because that's what matters.
