Im new here but if I was faced with this issue I would be inclined to reduce the flow temperature of my boiler. a) to reduce the chance of a skin burn and b) to reduce the already prohibitively expensive gas supply. |

Why dont you use a scheduler to increase temp with few (0.5-1) degrees every 2-3 minutes up to the target temperature ? |

Hey wonderful community!
I'm reaching out for some guidance as my current home setup is becoming a concern with a little one on the move. With digital TRVs ability to fully opening the valves, the rapid heat-up is making radiators scalding hot, posing a potential risk for my child.
Since I'm a renter and can't modify the valves, I'm exploring ways to achieve a slower and gentler heat-up. I've asked my landlord about changing the valves for ones that have presetting, but it seems like a challenging route since dumb trv's would fix the issue 🤦♂️.
Has anyone faced a similar situation or found a workaround for a gradual heat-up with digital TRVs? I'd love to hear your experiences and any suggestions you might have!
Thanks a bunch! 🙏
