No presets?

Hi, I can't find any way to set presets. Is this not possible?
generic_thermostat has the standard Home, Sleep and Away presets, and I thought that this thermostat is meant to basically be an extension of that?

If there are no presets possible then it will be very difficult to use this with scheduler-card and an away-from-home automation, since scheduler only supports climate presets, not service calls.

scheduler/scheduler-card does support setting a speichert target temperature via the climate entity

Yes, but that has problems:

1. I don't set the temperature only in the scheduler. I set the thermostat to a preset in an automation when I leave home, in a script that I use when I go to bed, etc. etc. Without presets I would have to hard-code the temperatures in all of those.
2. Setting temperature only, without an 'away' preset, makes it impossible or very difficult to properly interrupt and resume the schedule when I'm away from home.

So you mean that there really are no presets? It seems like such an essential thing to miss in a thermostat.

Well, not all TRV expose the presets to HomeAssistant in the first place, so ...
