unexpected behaviour / please help set this up

Hi everybody,

I have installed better_thermostat and thought everything was set up correctly, but I noticed some strange things.

1. heating when there shouldn't be heating

• Temp is set to 18.5 °C
• Measured temp is 21.0°C (external sensor)
• According to card, heating is off
• climate entity: climate.betterthermostat_wohnzimmer

But:

• Temp is set to 23.5 °C
• Measure temp is 20.4 °C (thermostats internal sensor)
• climate entity: climate.unten_wohnzimmer
• temp sensor: sensor.unten_wohnzimmer_messwerte_temperature

If I understand correctly, climate.unten_wohnzimmer is controlled by climate.betterthermostat_wohnzimmer, right? So shouldn't it be set to either off or 5°C - because the measured temp is higher than the target temp?

These are my settings

2. turned off when should be heating

• Temp is set to 19.5 °C
• Measured temp is 16.5°C (external sensor)
• According to card, heating is off - should be on
• When I manually turn this on by pressing the fire button, it will turn on - but eventually (when I check later) be turned off again

• Settings same as for previous thermostat

The weather entity displays this, so nowhere near 20°C (at which they would automatically turn off)

I switched to this, because it seemed so much easier than my countless individual automations doing the same thing (toggle on/off according to window, for example). But I can't get it to work. The bathroom thermostat seems to have been off all night, even though temperature was set to a value higher than the measured temperature in the room. The kitchen one was completely off this morning, even though it should have been heating (target temp was automatically set to a high value at a certain time).

Is there something I need to do in order to fix this, or is it a bug?
