Better Thermostat and window

I now finally added some window sensors to my house and added these to the respective thermostats, configured through this amazing integration. One thing I noticed is the difference on the cards after a window has been opened and closed again.

I am using the latest version of both the integration as well as the card. It seems to me that the "heat" mode is turned off when the window is opened, but never turned back on again. Is this expected behavior or am I misunderstanding things? I did use the option to use min temperature instead of off, since my thermostats are the Moes BRT-100-TRV which do not have an "off" mode.

Any ideas which might cause this or what I should do to change it?
