Ability to change Thermostat/Window sensor etc afterwards

Hi,
the ability to change the sensors, not only the settings of a thermostat would be great. So we dont have to re-create the thermostates every time we need to change something.

I'd say: that's a must-have!

I guess, you can go to /conf/.storage/core.entity_registry and/or /conf/.storage/core.config_entries and change it manually there with the file editor of your liking (and restart HA) - but .... that's obviously dangerous as HA will not come up again in case of any typo in the JSON syntax ...

@CryPt00n Yes, i have to remove it for now, because its not possible to restore a choosed entity that is optional in the entity input field, sadly there are no HA docs for it. and i cant find any core ext who use it in a reconfig way. i'll open an issue to adress it, mabey some smart guy can help out here

well, you still can't change the external_temperature sensor ...

I did that for beta-20.

I can change other settings but not the temp sensor.

I can change the temp sensor, but not the thermostat entry. Is this on purpose?

yes because than its an other device ;) so if you want to change the TRV just create a new one
