OK, I never used the Homematic Cloud. I'm running a debmatic or RaspberryMatic in a virtual machine without cloud. That does cover HomematicIP as well, without any cloud. |

Any suggestions on how to handle this automation then? Currently it seems my HmIP wall thermostats are not really working as expected...the room temp is going up although the settings for the thermostats has long been reached. |

I Wonder how it works with the normal climate card But you can build an automation with device Trigger on off and Heat Mode |

Thanks for looking into it. I have given up on this for now since my heating was going bonkers while I had this turned on. The temperature was set to pretty low values but it just kept on heating...not sure why. I will give it some time to mature and then try again. |

Hi,
Upon installing a better Thermostat with my Homematic IP thermostats controlling my floor heating I get a warning that Homematic does not support the "OFF" state and I should create an automation to catch this.
Sadly I have not found any documentation on how to do this and what to actually do...sorry if I am missing something obvious...
