I assume one should turn off "window detection" on the "real" TRV if one uses "window detection" from within better thermostat?
I'd really love some help here, trying to figure this all out on my own with one Siterwell GS361A-H04 for testing so I don't mind buying different ones if that would work better.
Also, here's a question for the German users of this add-on. Specifically asking for Germans because of availability of TRVs and a specific heating setup which seems uncommon in the US from what I have read so far in the HA forums.
if there's a better TRV out there available for purchase in Germany or with not much fuss deliverable to Germany ,please let me know which one and from where.
I have a classical German home with 4 TRVs and a wall thermostat that turns the (gas-heated) boiler on so I am wondering how to get these components to work together. I.e. the TRVs are useless unless the wall thermostat for the boiler is turned on - should I buy a wireless wall thermostat? (currently testing with the manual one in place, keeping it permanently on) or should I replace it with a zigbee switch and then have the TRV turn it on via an automation whenever it mneeds heat?

The home page of Better Thermostat states it is compatible but doesn't support local calibration.
