Instantiation of Custom Workers/Publishers (id, name??)

Hi again.
Another challenge I've faced is that the custom workers/publishers, when instantiated, do not have their properties populated, at least not the corresponding Publisher or worker ID. From the code, I gathered that these values are assigned immediately after. It would be useful to have at least id and name at the moment of instanciation.
