The AdvertisingSlot component in version 4.0.0 uses the browser's Intersection Observer API. This is not supported by Internet Explorer 11. Find out if it can be easily fixed for IE11 by adding a polyfill. If so, add info to the IE11 compatibility page in the wiki.

Given that IE11 support from Microsoft ended on June 15, 2022, shall we close this issue?
