I know everyone is very busy and that freeing time for free software projects is more and more difficult, still, I think it is important at least to make the efforts to keep the documentation up to date so that new users can install and compile your software without problems :
I tried to set up snowboy for Ubuntu 22.04, but the latest dependencies for it written in the documentation are not up to date and this is an issue : Here is what happens when trying to install the dependencies with #apt-get# :
$ sudo apt-get install python-pyaudio pyaudio sox
[sudo] Mot de passe de jjouvin :
Lecture des listes de paquets... Fait
Construction de l'arbre des dépendances... Fait
Lecture des informations d'état... Fait
E: Impossible de trouver le paquet python-pyaudio
E: Impossible de trouver le paquet pyaudio
It says that python-pyaudio and pyaudio packages are not available.
I am looking forward to hearing from you :
