Globe -- WGS84 or (any other 3D globe grid) would be an idea but a plain sphere might work too
Explore current ways to render a 3D globe in Python that uses VTK
Discuss and come up with the interface
Need to define the scope -- we need to support multiple layers of data, multi-resolution, supports clipping/cropping
