Calendar Add-on version

Hi there,

I am looking to purchase the calendar addon but wish to know which version of fullcalendar has been integrated. There appears to be a number of differences between the two when looking at the fullcalendar.io website. In particular I am looking for

• the timeline view
• repeatable events [eg classes that happen every tuesday at 3pm without having to schedule the entire year]
• ability to drag from the list of items from the right onto the calendar much like the fullcalendar.io demo
• printer friendly

If the free version is integrated, it is feasible to upgrade to the fullcalendar premium version without impacting the backpack integration?

• The Calendar Add-on is currently at Fullcalendar v6.
• You can try out its demo here.
• Yes, you can integrate this into the free version. This does not have a dependency on the pro package.

Thanks I have seen the demo. I am looking for the features of the pro version. Can the version integrated with Backpack be upgrade to the pro version?

Hey @qontori

The Backpack Calendar Addon comes with the Standard MIT Fullcalendar. Integrating the Premium Fullcalendar features does not come out of the box.

You can extend the functionality of the addon by:

• Passing javascript config:
  
• Or override the addon if there is something that the configuration can't do.

Thanks. The response ie setupcalendaroptions didn't really address the follow on questions. Apologies for not articulating well enough.

The free version does not meet the needs that I have. Thus what is the implication, if after installing the backpack version, if I wish to then upgrade to the pro version of fullcalendar. Is this feasible?

Thanks the responses, however, they didn't really address my primary question. Can I upgrade to the paid / premium version of FullCalendar after I implement the backpack calendar package ie will it break the backpack-fullcalendar integration?

Why this question?

I am looking to use, from the FullCalendar premium version:

• timeline views
• printer friendly options

[perhaps the above is easily achievable through normal backpack?]

Also, perhaps these two features are available through the backpack-calendar option but I could not tell from the docs / backpack demo

• repeatable events [I didn't notice the fields to support this in the backpack docs https://backpackforlaravel.com/products/calendar-operation]
• ability to drag and drop from a list of options on the side to the calendar as shown in the FullCalendar Demo
