Game crashes when I try to load a saved game #56

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch the game
2. Click the button in bottom right corner
3. Click load from the red menu that appears

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect it to give me a screen which will let me select saved games
Instead it bombs out completely.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using the most up to date version of silver tree (as far as Im aware)
Just downloaded from the website. I'm running it in Windows Vista.
The problem occurs whether or not I choose to run the game as 
administrator.

Please provide any additional information below.
