core dumped on init

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. today's SVN
2. ./configure; make on Linux
3. ./silvertree

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Sources were moved to src so ./configure && make will create binary in src. ST 
still
must be run from root dir of working copy in order to find data files:
src/silvertreerpg

Someone should update the README.
