Error installing Storybook within custom theme folder

I would like to install Storybook within a custom theme folder using CL Server to try to make the process I'm building for a particular project more efficient. When I try to do that, I get the following error:

The installation guide at https://git.drupalcode.org/project/cl_server/-/blob/2.x/docs/storybook.md has me install storybook at the root of the Drupal install, which I have tried out and was able to get working. Is there something I need to do extra so I can install storybook within the custom theme folder and still work with cl_server?
