title of x and y coordinates of plot

Question

I type the command plot PT(l+ l-) 50 0 500 [logY] and the y-axis of the PT image for lepton pairs defaults to the N. l+l- pairs,
but when I try type the command plot PT(l[1] l[2]) 50 0 500 [logY] the title of y-axis is events.
I don't know if there is a difference between the N. l+l- pairs and events.
Of course, the plot I want is the PT of dilepton.
