server version: 4.5.2.0
Taizan app version 1.0.85

Hebrew subtitles that work fine on other clients (pc) and android (using version3.1.23)
The First 30m works fine:

After the 30m:

Strange. Are these internal or external subtitles?

External, I did see that the last tizan introduces some subtitles fixes.
And as I said on chrome and android it works well.

Edit 1:

Video Info:

and both Subtitles I used (same issue with both of them): SRT format
Coco.2017.1080p.BluRay.DTS.x264-FuzerHD.txt

Can you please confirm a few things for me?

  • Does this occur at the 30 minute mark, or only after playing for 30 minutes?
  • What happens if you start playback at the 20min mark? Do the subs go bad at the 30min mark, or later?
  • What model is your TV?
  • Is playback DirectPlay, DirectStream or Transcode?
    • If your TV is 2018 or later, and as this file has DTS audio, I suspect it is DirectStream

@LukePulverenti, this might be an issue with HLS subs conversion. I'm not sure why it would happen after 30 minutes. If I force transcoding I get messed up subs right from the start

I needed to check, and the subs are getting worse as soon as I fast forward (I saw it after 3.24 minutes)
And after a full stop (exiting the movie and return to the main menu and then continue the movie) it comes back to normal.

Whenever I fast forward or reverse the subs turn bad, but from the 32:31 mark it won't turn back to normal even if I do go back out and in the movie.

TV Used: UE65RU7100UXSQ (2018/19)
