Prerequisites and Pre-Issue Checklist

  • I'm reporting the issue to the correct repository:

  • MegaMek

  • MegaMekLab

  • MekHQ

  • I've tested the issue against at least the latest MILESTONE version

  • I've asked on the MegaMek Discord about the error

  • I've reviewed the BattleTech rules and MegaMek documentation, and I've confirmed that something isn't working as intended.

  • I've searched the Github tracker and haven't found the issue listed

Severity *

Low (Minor/Nuisance): Minor glitches or cosmetic issues that don’t affect gameplay and occur rarely.

Brief Description *

The included scenario 'packs' which contain multiple, ordered scenarios are not listed in order in MegaMek run on a Mac.

I have confirmation this is not an issue on Windows from Lanceman on the Discord server as well as a second computer in my house.

I inspected the scenario files, looking for anything to set the order and could not identify anything. I'd be glad to submit edited scenario files if I knew what to change. I'm less confident in the code, but I'd give it a shot for a low priority issue like this.

Steps to Reproduce

Environment: Confirmed in 0.49.19.1 and 0.50.0, Adoptium 17 JRE on macOS 13.6.9

  1. Open MegaMek
  2. Click Start A Scenario
The list of scenarios under each option with multiple, ordered scenarios displays them out of order. I confirmed this with all of the included 'packs' with ordered scenarios. Screenshot of the Training Scenarios is included.

Operating System *

Mac

Java Version *

17.0.11

MegaMek Suite Version *

v0.50.0

Custom MegaMek Version
