Prerequisites and Pre-Issue Checklist

  • I'm reporting the issue to the correct repository:

  • MegaMek

  • MegaMekLab

  • MekHQ

  • I've tested the issue against at least the latest MILESTONE version

  • I've asked on the MegaMek Discord about the error

  • I've reviewed the BattleTech rules and MegaMekLab documentation, and I've confirmed that something isn't working as intended.

  • I've searched the Github tracker and haven't found the issue listed

Severity *

Low (Minor/Nuisance): Minor glitches or cosmetic issues that don’t affect gameplay and occur rarely.

Brief Description *

Unable to add hands to Grand Dragon as Lab does not recognise "adding hands" as a change.
Testing with a Stalker indicates that adding hands or lower arms is not recognised as a change.
Testing with a Spider indicates that removing hands and lower arms is recognised as a change.

Impact is minimal, since moving another item like a heat sink to a different location is effective workaround, however this is still a limitation.

Steps to Reproduce

Load any mech without lower arm or hand into lab.
Right click on any arm
"Add lower arm" or "Add hand" as appropriate
Begin Refit is unavailable.

Operating System *

Windows 10

Java Version *

17.0.11

MegaMek Suite Version *

v0.50.0

Custom MegaMekLab Version

v0.50.0
