I have a large list of items that were withdrawn, lost or missing in Voyager, but the records had not been deleted. So these thousands of records were migrated to Alma when we changed over. They all say "Process Type: Technical-Migration". When I run an inventory list, it is clogged up with "dead" records which we want to delete permanently. So I set up BBG and got an API key, which tested correct for all features. When I scan or key in a barcode from my list, I get a response of "no item was found for this barcode". When I go into Alma and search for the item by barcode, the item comes up. Some of the holdings and bib records have been suppressed and some have not, but they all fail to show up in the file for withdrawal.
When I scan in a barcode from a book on the shelf, it is immediately transferred to the list as it should be. What is keeping my "Technical-Migration" items from scanning into the list? Is there anything I can do to make them work as they should?
