There are some nespp3 codes (732 0 524 525 97 807 92 91 338 688 999) that are present in the stock eff cf_landings data but dont have a definition in the stockeff species_c table.
Some of these codes do appear in the old cfspp table.
Reached out to stockeff group to ask

STOCKEFF: "Our materialized view mv_cf_species_c gets data from COMCODE_VALIDATION.CCV_SCBI_SPECIES_ITIS_NE which appears to be missing some species that exist in landings.
I have reached out to the data steward of that object and provided an example selection with the missing species. He said he would reach out to GARFO to further investigate. It does look like CAMS gets more species codes, though not all (I poked through some of their configuration objects)...and I would think that CAMS and we should be getting our species codes from the same place! So it would be good to better understand what is going on.
I noticed some codes have older landings and don't have ITIS codes, but at least a few (e.g., 807 unclassified squid) have ITIS codes and more recent landings, so hopefully will be resolved relatively soon"
