Need help running ROSCO 2.9.0 5MW Wind turbine test case in Linux environment

I have compiled the libdiscon.so file locally in the same environment, however, when I try to run a test case (NREL 5MW) it is showing the following error. It is interesting that using the same ~/ROSCO/rosco/lib/libdiscon.so file ~/Examples/04_simple_sim.py is running without any error. Any help would be appreciated.

This error also occurs when OpenFAST and ROSCO have been compiled with different fortran compilers.

When you run cmake to set up the ROSCO build, is it using GCC version 8.3.1 20190311 (Red Hat 8.3.1-3) specified by OpenFAST?

@dzalkind Thanks a lot for confirming. I see that the version of GCC is 12.3.0 installed. I am not sure in the case of Windows, but it is working fine. Probably only way then to reinstall ROSCO using 8.3.1 then?

On a separate note, while running ROSCO 2.9.0 in Windows I am facing these following warnings. Do you think I should be worried? or am I messing up the input file? There is no such warning for ROSCO 2.7.0 though. Thanks a lot in advance.

I usually compile OpenFAST (when needed) from the rosco conda environment. This way, you ensure they share a fortran compiler.

As of ROSCO 2.8.0, many inputs are optional. Your simulation will be aborted if a required input is missing. The inputs ROSCO is warning you about make it appear that you are using a DISCON from an older version of ROSCO. This should work, but if you'd like to update your DISCON, here is a script to assist.

@dzalkind Now I installed OpenFAST in my conda environment, and successfully installed. While running, although there are all the files still it is showing missing file error. Here is the output window. Spent couple of hours and ended up going nowhere. Is this the problem from my end or solver? Does" OpenFAST-v3.5.2-dirty",indicate something here?

I suspect this is an issue with your model files. Please try with one of the test cases in ROSCO.

@dzalkind It worked with the test case 5MW. Need to check what is wrong with the previous one, although those are perfectly running cases in windows. Thanks a lot.
