I get the following msg: . table wc, c(mean earn) option contents() not allowed since Stata 17; see help table for updated syntax
Apologies, I'm relatively new to Stata, and I do not see in the Stata help file how to obtain the conditional mean using updated syntax.

Hmm, shoot, I don't have access to Stata 17 to test it out, but it looks like maybe the syntax would be table wc, statistic(mean earn)?
