Navigation submenus with down arrow key skips items

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to https://codepen.io/nickdjm/pen/YzMyraX (your demo)
2. tab into the nav
3. arrow left/right to an expandable menu item and expand it with space/enter
4. arrow down to cycle through it's and watch it skip every other item in the list

Expected Behaviour

It should not skip

@danderson421 Thanks for the issue! I can confirm that I see that bug as well.

I'm going to move this issue to the accessible-menu-bootstrap-5 project since it should be opened there instead.

This has definitely been an issue before, but I thought it was resolved. I'll look to see if I can reproduce this locally.

@danderson421 I think this might have been fixed with some changes I made in 2.1.0. I've been testing out the demos with the latest version and it appears to be resolved. Are you able to confirm?
