Vortex keeps updating my LSLib/DivineTools to the latest version, 1.19.5 and then it fails to read the pak files and cannot load any mods. The only fix is to continually revert back to 1.18.7 when this happens.

Hey guys! I posted with this exact problem after the 1.19.4 update, got the same error, everything was FUBAR. Solution was to download the latest .NET 8 update. Find it here: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download

Enjoy returning to the gaming, lads! :D

Edit: Thank you Norbyte! Your quick reply saved my day off!

.NET 8 does not fix this for me. The only thing that worked was manually installing v1.18.7.

Downloading .NET 8 worked and did solve my problem

Installing .NET 8 worked for me as well.

Not everyone wants to add NET8 just to get some third-party tool working again, as NET8 messes things up (WSL, in my case). I'll be sticking to the old version

Installing .NET 8.0.3 fixed it for me also.

Downloading SDKs to run software has been a thing for many years. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I haven't tested it but I suspect the .NET 8 SDK isn't required itself, but most likely the .NET 8 Runtime (and maybe .NET 8 desktop runtime) - https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/8.0

Installing the SDK also installs the runtime, so that's why we could be seeing installing the SDK fix the problem.

i was having the same issue. downloaded net8 and it lets me load the mod order now but the game will not launch 80% of the times and when it does my save games are gone and not all mods seems to be working. i did also try reverting to 1.18.7 but same result.

This might sound like a dumb question, but I'm not super tech savy and i was wondering if i just download .NET 8 and it works or if i have to do more instructions before my mods start working again?

edit: i figured it out
