In the scores globe, a region can be clicked on to bring it into focus. The globe rotates to show the entire region, and the polygon is styled with a grey outline (and eventually more details about that region will be displayed at the same time, see issue #37). However, this isn't enough to make the selected region stand out.

In the old map, moving the mouse over a region made the rest of the regions decrease opacity which effectively emphasized the selected region.

The new globe should use a similar effect.
