Operating System of DocumentServer

Linux (DEB package)

Version information

8.2.2

Expected Behavior

Expected Behavior

  • The hand should be recognized during interactions like zooming or panning.
  • Only the Pencil/Pen should be able to draw lines or annotations.
  • Behavior like in Xournal++

Environment

  • Docs Version: 8.2
  • Desktop Editor Version: 8.2

Actual Behavior

Description

When interacting with PDF annotations, the hand is not recognized correctly. Zooming with fingers results in unwanted lines being drawn, even though only the Pencil/Pen should be drawing.

Reproduction Steps

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a PDF in version 8.2 of the desktop editor.
  2. Attempt to zoom in or out using your fingers while pen is selected.
  3. Observe that lines are unintentionally drawn during the zoom gesture.
