Another good alternative is https://github.com/statuspal/statuspal, which I think will monitor certain services automatically. Cachet does not (instead, you have to publish the issues yourself). I haven't tried statuspal yet myself, but it might be an interesting alternative in case Cachet doesn't fulfill your needs. I've used Cachet before and it's pretty neato!
