Final Project Documentation Template

You are required to link to your final project documentation from the [Final Project Presentation](final-presentation.md page). You may choose to document your final project in whatever format you see fit (blog post, markdown page, etc.)

Project Title

Write an abstract -- describe your idea in a short paragraph, 250 words maximum.

Deliverables / Work Product

What did you deliver? Link to all relevant project pages (GitHub repo, pull request, documentation site, etc.).

Define the problem you addressed and greater landscape

Describe the community around your project. What is the current state of things? What issue do you wish to solve and why? What need does this project fill? What similar projects did you refer to / build off of? What sets your project apart?

Implementation

  1. What themes, readings, and discussion from the first half of this course were most relevant to your work on this project? Version Control, Community / Code of Conduct, Unit Testing, Documentation and Accessibility, Software Licensing, Project Funding
  2. Describe the technical details about your implementation and development process.
  3. What challenges, stumbling blocks, difficulties did you encounter along the way.
  4. How did your final development line up with your proposal timeline.
  5. What was your biggest success? What was your biggest failure?
