A user would like to have fields showing the details of the approach, including distance, elevation gain, time, etc.

FWIW a workaround I discovered was to just overload the area's "description" field and put whatever you need sectioned out.

"Description" is an <h3>, so all of the sub-sections I added within I used <h4> headers (which are #### header in markdown).
