Composer Error

Just this morning I had an error building with Composer with the workflow that has always been working:

$ composer update --no-dev

  Problem 1
    - Root composer.json requires openmage/magento-lts dev-master -> satisfiable by openmage/magento-lts[dev-master].
    - openmage/magento-lts dev-master requires magento-hackathon/magento-composer-installer ^3.1 || ^2.1 || ^4.0 -> satisfiable by magento-hackathon/magento-composer-installer[2.1.0-rc.1, ...,
 2.1.x-dev, 3.1.0, ..., 3.x-dev, 4.0.0-alpha.1, 4.0.1, 4.0.2] from composer repo (https://repo.packagist.org) but magento-hackathon/magento-composer-installer[0.1.0, 0.1.1, 0.1.2, 0.1.3] from composer repo (https://packages.firegento.com) has higher repository priority. (Note: openmage/magento-lts: dev-master is my own fork in a private repo)

So it looks like the firegento satis repo has been changed to either now include magento-hackathon/magento-composer-installer or that it is now missing the 4.0.2 tag.

I resolved by modifying my composer.json to be:
