Describe the bug
Similar to bug #1033 , I'm on gentoo and can't downgrade that far to actually test which version is the latest that works.
When I try to add my Epson printer, a L3250, with IPP everywhere, I get the following error: Unable to create PPD: Printer does not support required IPP attributes or document formats.
But somehow the printer is available to print, but as expected, it doesn't work properly
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Try to add the printer with IPP everywhere
Get the error
Somehow the printer is now available, but trying to print just spits out some rubbish on the paper
Expected behavior
The printer would be added properly and I would be able to print
Screenshots
If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem.
System Information:
Gentoo Linux (rolling release)
Firefox and Thunderbird
CUPS 2.4.11
Additional context
This started happening after some update, but I'm unable to determine which one broke my printer's support
