Meta hat den Abschnitt „Hassrede“ seiner Gemeinschaftsstandards umgeschrieben und damit die auf seinen Plattformen Facebook, Instagram und Threads zulässigen Inhalte erheblich erweitert. Der neue Abschnitt heißt jetzt „hasserfülltes Verhalten“1 und entfernt die Aussage, dass Hassreden „ein Umfeld der Einschüchterung und Ausgrenzung“ schaffe. Außerdem wird jeder Hinweis auf „Gewalt in der Offline-Welt“ gestrichen, die aus Hassreden resultieren könnte.

Vor allem erlaubt diese Neufassung explizit bestimmte Äußerungen:

  • Wir erlauben Behauptungen über Geisteskrankheiten oder Abnormitäten, wenn sie auf dem Geschlecht oder der Sexualorientierung basieren, angesichts des politischen und religiösen Diskurses über Transgenderismus2 und Homosexualität1 (Zeile 1346).
  • Wir lassen Inhalte zu, die für geschlechtsspezifische Einschränkungen bei Militär-, Strafverfolgungs- und Lehrberufen plädieren. Wir lassen auch Inhalte zu, die sich auf die sexuelle Ausrichtung beziehen, wenn diese Inhalte auf religiösen Überzeugungen beruhen1 (Zeile 1340).
  • Die Verwendung von „geschlechtsspezifischer oder geschlechtsausschließender Sprache, wenn Menschen […] zur Ausgrenzung aufrufen oder beleidigende Sprache im Zusammenhang mit der Diskussion politischer oder religiöser Themen verwenden, wie z. B. bei der Diskussion über Transgender-Rechte, Einwanderung oder Homosexualität. […] Unsere Standards sind so gestaltet, dass sie Raum für diese Art von Äußerungen lassen.“1 (Zeile 1297)

Eine weitere aufschlussreiche Änderung ist die Aufhebung von Verboten für bestimmte Formen von Hassreden. Dank Open Terms Archive wissen wir, dass die folgenden Inhalte, die zuvor verboten waren, ab dem 7. Januar auf Instagram, Facebook und Threads erlaubt sind:

  • bestimmte Gegenstände (Bezeichnung von Frauen als Haushaltsgegenstände, Eigentum oder allgemein als „Objekte“ Bezeichnung von Schwarzen als landwirtschaftliche Geräte oder von Transgender- oder nichtbinären Personen als „es“)
  • Fäkalien (wie u. a. Scheiße, Kacke)
  • Schmutz (einschließlich, aber nicht beschränkt auf: Schmutz, Dreck oder die Aussage „[geschützte Eigenschaft oder quasi-geschützte Eigenschaft] hat eine schlechte Hygiene“)
  • Bakterien, Viren oder Mikroben
  • Krankheiten (wie u. a. Krebs, Geschlechtskrankheiten)
  • Kriminelle
  • Die Existenz einer Gruppe von Menschen zu leugnen (Zeile 1361).
  • Aufrufe zu „bestimmte Gruppen ausschließen“ (Zeile 1403).
  • Aufrufe zum „geschlechtsspezifischen oder geschlechtsspezifischen Ausschluss von Räumen, die üblicherweise durch das Geschlecht begrenzt sind, wie Toiletten, Sport und Sportligen, Gesundheits- und Selbsthilfegruppen und bestimmte Schulen“1 (Zeile 1341).
  • Behauptungen, dass einige Menschen für Covid-19 verantwortlich sind oder Covid-19 verbreiten (Zeile 1414).

Da mehrere der jetzt erlaubten Arten von Sprache in den meisten europäischen Ländern illegal sind, wurde in dem Abschnitt ein direkter Link zu legalen Löschanträgen für europäische Nutzer hinzugefügt.

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO von Meta, kündigte am Tag der Veröffentlichung dieser Änderungen an, dass „es an der Zeit ist, zu unseren Wurzeln zurückzukehren, wenn es um freie Meinungsäußerung geht und darum, den Menschen auf unseren Plattformen eine Stimme zu geben.“1 Insbesondere erklärte er, dass Meta „unsere Inhaltsrichtlinien vereinfachen und Beschränkungen bei Themen wie Einwanderung aufheben wird1.

Cette collection est maintenue par Marie-Pierre Vidonne (avec le soutien de HestiaLabs jusqu’à fin 2022) pour le Collectif Dating Privacy.

Elle vise à sensibiliser aux risques liés à la protection de la vie privée et à créer de nouvelles pratiques dans le domaine des rencontres en ligne, tant pour les utilisateurs que pour les plateformes.
