sometimes transcription seems to fail with

WARNING (VoskAPI:BestPathEnd():lattice-incremental-online-decoder.cc:99) No final token found.
ASSERTION_FAILED (VoskAPI:TraceBackBestPath():lattice-incremental-online-decoder.cc:110) Assertion failed: (!iter.Done() && oarc != NULL)

the whole speech service seems to hang and becomes unusable when this happens

this happens consistently on my laptop running manjaro, but i can not replicate on demand

no sorry, we moved to fasterwhisper so this has not been a priority as it is not a default component anymore
