A couple of years ago I began implementing anti-knockback and resistance lend-kits in spawns across maps that were prone to spawn killing. This was in response to the removal of rules against spawn killing. In ways this issue I will outline the changes I look to implement across certain maps I didn't initially update/fix.
The following updates will be made:
Spawn protection lend kits in team base regions. This will give players knockback resistance and the resistance potion effect, essentially making newly spawned players immune to spawn killing. This is filtered based on the team of the player to prevent it being abused.
Disabled crafting of chests
Disabled block break/place of chests
Chainmail chestplates in base kits that have blast protection IV. This was a change that was implemented in Medieval Warfare DTE by whoever adapted this map. It seems to work quite well and will hopefully bring these maps up to par with other maps from different gamemodes that most of the time have leather armour (or similar armour) in all base kits.
This update will be a follow up change to earlier changes made in #33 .
