Describe the bug

Description

With SCMU you can go to advanced settings and there is a forced upgrade option.

  1. This option still states upgrade to v5 and not the current v6.x
  2. Forced upgrade isn't working from v4. You first need to do a forced upgrade to 5, and then a regular upgrade to v6.

Forced upgraded are especially useful for audit instance which in many environments do not need a migration as the data is only used for diagnostics.

Expected behavior

Ability to do a forced upgrade to the latest version from a v4 instance.

Actual behavior

Failure when selecting the upgrade

Versions

  • 6.x

Steps to reproduce

  1. Ensure you have a v4 audit instance setup
  2. Launch v6 installer
  3. Go to the advanced settings of the audit instance
  4. Select forced upgrade

Observe the failure.

Relevant log output

Additional Information

Workarounds

  1. Run 5.x installer and do a forced upgrade to 5
  2. Run 6.x installer and perform regular upgrade
