[FEAT] Mask last typed character in app lock screen and other password fields #2751

I sometimes have to open up Keepass2Android in a public space, and I don't want 3rd party cameras to record me typing my password due to my negligence. Currently when I type the master password in the database unlock screen / app login screen / whatever it's called, it shows the last character typed, without masking it. I want to have it so that the entire password is masked as I type it. (Unless of course the eye button is enabled, which unmasks the entire password by design).

I could not find a setting that does this.

you should be able to change this in your android settings (of course this is system wide then), see e.g. https://support.google.com/android/thread/51455151/is-it-possible-to-hide-all-signs-of-a-password-when-we-typing-it?hl=en

For my phone, I did find such an option by searching for "Display passwords" (in German).
