i3wm parent containers window border color changes to dom0 border color

Brief summary

The window border color of parent containers in i3wm changes to dom0 window border color instead of keeping the AppVMs window border color. In the area of the the list of windows at the top of the container applications are started in context of dom0 instead of AppVM.

Steps to reproduce

1.Open two or three applications in i3wm in tabbed layout.
2.in one of them activate splith or splitv to distribute the windows horizontally or vertically
3.the color in the list of windows at the top changes to the color of dom0
4. optionally: put your mouse pointer in the area of the parent container in the list of windows at the top
5. enter your shortcut for opening of a terminal - it opens a dom0 terminal

Expected behavior

The color of the parent container is in the same as the window border color of the AppVM. And an additional openend terminal is as well of the AppVM instead of dom0.

Actual behavior

The color in the list of windows at the top changes to the color of dom0

Additional information

This first screenshot illustrates the dom0 color (pink in my case, I love pink ;) after I changed that tabbed container to a vertical split one.

This second screenshot illustrates the opened urxvt terminal in dom0 after I entered my shortcut to open a new Terminal. Instead it should be another Terminal in test AppVM
