ShopBop Clone Project

Hello Everyone !🌏 We are Masaiians from Web17 batch and we are presenting our project- clone of ShopBop, built during construct week of Unit-3.

Details : 🔭

Shopbop is a US online fashion apparel and accessories shop opened in 1999. It has been a subsidiary of Amazon.com since 2006.

Pages & Features 👇

  • Home Page : Nav Bar, carousel, products and offers slider.

  • Login/Signup : User authentication to check whether user email and password match with details existing in the database.

  • Product page : User can apply sorting or filter to the product and, products can be added to cart from here.

  • Cart Page : User can see all the items here which he or she want to buy and can also remove products from the cart and get discount also.

  • Description Page : User can see the detailed description of the product here.

  • Address Details : Users have to fill their delivery address details.

  • Payment Page : Users can add their payment details.

  • Order Successful: Once order is placed, confirmation will be shown and user can continue shopping further.

Tech Stack

Client: HTML5 , CSS3 , JAVASCRIPT, IMPORT & EXPORT

Server: LOCAL STORAGE

Roles & Responsibilities :-

  • GitHub is managed by Rahul Kumar.
  • The Landing Page , Navbar and footer is designed and functioned by Alisha Mohasin P K.
  • login/signup page is designed and functioned by Sreehari Surabind.
  • Product page is designed and functioned by Saurabh Kumar.
  • Description page is designed and functioned by Ashish Kumar Chaudhary.
  • Cart page and Final page and its full functionality is designed by Rahul Kumar.
  • Checkout section(Address and Payment) and its full functionality is designed by Shivam.

Lessons Learned

  • We all became proficient in reading the code of team members.
  • Our code writing style became cleaner as we had used ES6 to write code and used import export so that code become well structured.
  • We learn about many CSS properties that we didn't know before.
  • Our skills in JavaScript and DOM manipulation became better.
  • We all learned how to plan a project and execute that in a limited time frame.
