We're trying an RSLidar M1 Plus indoors and outdoors, and we found that there's a certain bias in the different "emmiters".
I attach a gif where I show that when rotating the lidar, a white wall shows as a different intensity (much more red) for one of the emmiters:
This is showing the ROS2 visualization, with the default settings that the launch file you provide have.
Is this a known issue, a factory defect or something that can be addressed somehow?
