Hi all,

I need to develop a Smart TV application mainly for Samsung Tizen and preferably also for LG webOS.
I tried using TOAST (which kind of works), but the projects created in TOAST are compatible with Tizen 3.0, which is used for model groups of Smart TV's created in 2017.

Now, because my application should also be compatible on the newest models, I would like to know:
Whether it's possible to update the TOAST plugin to build Tizen 5.0 projects;
Or that I should just use the Samsing Tizen SDK and use a seperate code base for Samsung Tizen and a seperate one for LG webOS.
There is little information about TOAST and whether it is future proof..

Looking forward to an answer.

Yours Sincerly,

Brvm

I continued using it because it is very convenient. I combined it with Vue.js (https://medium.com/@valeriocapogna/how-to-setup-a-cordova-app-using-vue-js-8ba1315b9666). This all allowed me to develop a Smart TV application for both Samsung and LG. I have installed my developed application on a LG Smart TV (webOS), but haven't tried on a physical Samsung Smart TV yet. My application does work in a Samsung emulator.

Hi, I'm new to Smart TV development and I'm wondering if is it possible to use the toast plugin with the newest Node version (today is v16.13.2) and if it has typescript support

Or I would like to know if is an intent to upgrade the suport of those features for the toast plugin
