Prerequisites

  • I have searched all issues/PRs to ensure it has not already been reported or fixed.

Criteria

  • Reasonably well-known and widely used (e.g. if it's a GitHub project, it should have at least 500 stars and/or 150 forks)
  • English interface (or at least English documentation)
  • Latest stable version
  • Non-GUI tool
  • Fairly standard install (e.g. uses a version-specific download URL, no elaborate pre/post install scripts)
  • Full version (i.e. not a trial version)

Name

lutgen

Description

Blazingly fast interpolated LUT generator and applicator for arbitrary and popular color palettes.

Some Indication of Popularity/Repute

It does not have over 500 Github stars, but it is a widely used and popular tool for wallpaper modification in the desktop customization community (ricing). Regularly used and discussed in Discord servers for r/unixporn (+32,000) or Catppuccin Color Theme (+4,000). Most users are probably using Linux, but Windows builds are released. Adding this package will compliment the other Rust tools present in the Main bucket.
