Description

hostd for example can have it's config file location specified in an environment variable, or take it from the current working directory but it can not be specified on the command arguments. This seems like an oversight as most other parameters can also be specified as command arguments.
Having the ability to specify the config file on the command arguments would simplify startup scripts and avoid security issues related to peeking env variables.
I suggest a
-f
additional command line option
