Hi,

I'm using this plugin in a NMEA2k network with B&G displays and plotter, with SignalK running on a Rasperry Pi with a MCP2515 CAN hat. I can get SignalK to output NMEA2k data fine, but when it comes into the B&G gear its hard to isolate the SignalK source as there is no device ID. See the photo.

Is it possible to set a device ID in the plugin?

Having the same issue with my B&G display. Interesting for me, as I had it working on my old OpenPlotter version 2 system, the Model ID was "SignalK" and the number 12345678. After rebuilding the system, installing latest version of everything, the model ID is no longer displayed on the B&G.

I have OpenCPN 3 with all latest updates running on Raspberry Pi Bullseye with PiCAN-M. I have a B&G Vulcan 12R chart plotter on NMEA 2000.

My setup still identifies as Signal K [123456] in the chart plotter, but has to be reselected after each reboot of the RPi.

I've posted a detail thread on the OpenPlotter forum.
