Console error. Need help

When I apply a template, any template, whether triggered on file creation or manually, I get an error: "Template Parsing Error, Aborting"

I checked the console, and it shows: Template parsing error, aborting. Unexpected token '<'

Where do I start to get this working again?

I unstalled, restarted, reinstalled, and not the problem is resolved.
